Italians came from many different backgrounds. Some from North Africa, the Middle East or Greece giving them an olive skin tone and dark hair with eyes, others have Norman blood in them which can give them blue eyes or green eyes with dark hair and some come from Switzerland, who are generally taller than southern Italians and blond with pale complexions.
